This policy describes what information L2 Arcanis actually collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers the website, the user panel, and the game service.
What we collect
- Account data. Your account name, a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself), and your email address.
- Security data. Login timestamps and results, partially masked IP addresses, and security events such as password or email changes. We use these to protect your account and the service.
- Game data. Characters, items, and gameplay records created by playing.
- Payment data. When payments open, we store transaction records: package, amount, currency, provider, and status. Card numbers and payment credentials are handled by the payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Voting and community data. When voting opens, vote timestamps and reward records. If you submit community content, the links and descriptions you provide.
What we do not collect
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not collect more than the service needs. We do not display complete IP addresses, password hashes, or internal identifiers to anyone through the site.
Your email address is used for verification, password recovery, security notices, and service announcements. Transactional email is sent through our email provider; addresses that hard-bounce or complain are suppressed from further sending.
Retention
Security logs and payment records are kept as long as they are needed for account protection, accounting, and dispute handling, then removed. Game data lives for the lifetime of the server.
Your choices
You can change your email, request password recovery, and review your own security activity in the user panel. For removal requests or questions, use the support contact; we will verify account ownership before acting.
Changes
